Hexagram 13: Fellowship

Your time of decline is over. You have come down from the peak of your old achievements without much loss, and you are getting ready to climb again.

Before this you had to act alone, even if friends or relatives could still help you here and there. Now, to start the work you have planned, you need to join with people who share your intentions.

Finding people who think as you do is the task of this period. You have not yet realized how much this matters. Carrying out new plans on your own is useless. You need more than helpers: you need people who truly share your aim.

Do not expect this to be easy. You may have shared your ideas with someone already and even had your plans approved. But was anyone truly inspired by them? No. You are still walking alone, with no companions and no support.

Be ready for quite a long stretch of loneliness and searching. Sooner or later it will end. Until then, let your courage and your patience carry you. Go toward your goal whatever happens.

People around you

All of this shapes your relations with the people around you. Whether you like it or not, you will have to be more selective about who you talk to. There is nothing wrong with that. Cut your contact with random or unnecessary people down to a minimum.

Later you will work out for yourself who really interests you and who you want to stay close to. The rest will stay acquaintances or colleagues. You can talk with them about general things now and then and swap news of your lives, and that is all.

Work and rest

This is a good time to make long-term plans and grow them, even ones that will take more than a year. Do not be afraid of that.

To build your life well you also need proper rest. Keep work and rest in even balance.

Learn to look ahead and aim at something far off rather than a quick gain.

Remember that too much work does nobody any good. Learn to spread your duties across the day and across longer stretches of time. Then results will not keep you waiting.

Your wish

Will your wish come true? Yes, it will. But some time will pass before you see clear results. Do not get nervous and do not push things forward. Everything comes at the right time.
