Hexagram 61
Hexagram 61: Inner Truth
中孚 (Zhōng Fú)
Sincerity, inner truth, and the power of authentic communication.
Overview
You have been deep in the work of building and developing your own character. That work has gone well and has brought you to a new level of life. Little by little you came out of your inner solitude. Now it is time to show yourself in action.
But you cannot start acting without a clear goal, and a goal will not simply fall to you by luck. You cannot move forward at random, without understanding what you are moving toward.
This sign is called Inner Truth, and that is where its main idea lies.
You need an inner truth that will help you get past many difficulties. Let it be a light on your road, one that shows you the obstacles you could stumble over. So your main task for the near future is to find your purpose.
People around you
To feel like a person yourself, you need to see the people around you not as one solid mass but as individuals, each of them as worthy of respect as you are. Your friends will feel this change in you, and your relationships with them often improve because of it. If you can find the different abilities and character traits in the people close to you, that new way of seeing will make your own life richer.
Work
For work to bring you inner satisfaction as well as money, you need to be clear about your goals in it. Your words and your actions gain weight when a goal inspires you, a height you are climbing toward.
Your wish
Your wish will come true if it does not go against what you truly want inside. How serious it is for you matters as well. Then you will reach your goals in any circumstances.
